Dear Parents,

 

     The following is a list of suggested materials to help make your shopping experience easier. I recommend that you do not buy trapper-keeper notebooks, magic markers, and toy erasers for use at school.  Novelty items tend to distract students and they should not be purchased.  I have also included a list of suggestions to prepare your child for the fourth grade.  I look forward to meeting and working with you.  Have a safe and relaxing summer.

Second Grade Supply List

 

Dear Families,

           In order to prepare your child for Second Grade in September, the following materials should be purchased. We really appreciate your cooperation and look forward to an exciting year!

 

 

 

Supplies:

· Waterproof backpack with no wheels

· Soft sided lunchbox

· Smock for art

· Two 8oz glue sticks

· 6 pencils per month (at least)

· 1 box of 16 crayons

· 1 soft pouch to keep crayons, scissors, etc. in

· 5 sturdy pocket folders (with pockets at bottom, not side)

· 1 hard covered marble notebook

· 1 pair of children’s scissors

· 2 red pens

· 2 highlighters

· 2 boxes of 180 tissues

· 2 rolls of paper towels

· 1 container of household wipes

· 1 hand sanitizer

 

 

For everyday:

· Lunch or lunch money (in an envelope labeled with child’s name and room number)

 Healthy snack (no cookies, candy or gummy type foods)
