LIBRARY PROCEDURES
A student must have a library card to check out materials.
To obtain a card a student should obtain an application from the media center, fill it out and have his/her parents sign it before returning it to the library.
Students may have three items at a time out of the library.
Books circulate for two weeks. Vertical file materials and magazines may be checked out for one week.
Students may not check out or renew materials if they owe the media center fines or overdue books.
Students may come to the library at 7:30 a.m. if they have a pass from a teacher. Passes are also required to enter the library periods 1-8 unless a student comes with a teacher. At 2:34 students may come on their own to work.
The library has internet connections for students to use in the research process. To search the internet students must have turned in an internet permission slip form with their parent's signature and display a library card with an orange "dot" placed on the computer keyboard. Students may only use the internet to research, not to play games, email or chat.
