ATTENDANCE
For the month of October, staff attendance was 95.8% and student attendance was 96.4%.

COLLEGE AND CAREER NIGHT
College and Career Night were held on Thursday, November 12^th at Union High School. Both cafeterias were needed to accommodate the 85 schools in attendance. Feedback from parents and students indicate that it was an exceptional evening. I want to personally thank all of the guidance counselors who made the evening possible. I would also like to thank the administration, secretaries, maintenance and custodial staff, PTA, and members of the Key Club and Student Council for their efforts in making for a successful evening.
 

The highly competitive field consisted of the top 16 groups from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

It is with great pride that I inform you that the Union High School Marching Unit placed first in the category of “Best Overall Effect,” and second overall with a score of 93.25, missing first by only six tenths of a point. This outstanding achievement could not have been accomplished without the talent, hard work and dedication of our students and staff members.
